Cretan homes belongs to the following organisations and associations:

Association of International Property Professionals

The AIPP has been set up to guide and to regulate the international property industry. It will give the buyer of international property confidence in choosing where to spend their money.

Companies who are listed as Members have signed up to follow the industry Code of Conduct, established to help the consumer in buying overseas. These guidelines dictate that a professional approach is followed and that companies act with honesty, transparency and integrity at all times. Any failure in their actions will lead to disciplinary action to which, once again, they have agreed.

Where you see the AIPP Member logo, you should feel confident about doing business.

Association of International Property Professionals

International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI)

In its 52 years of existence FIABCI the International Real Estate Federation, has built an enviable reputation as the authentic voice of international real estate. Multi-disciplinary and truly international it has no political axe to grind and represents the interests of no one country. Because of this and its concern with generating business opportunities for its worldwide membership, its opinions are sought by international bodies like the UN and regional bodies like the EU, NAFTA and MERCOSUR.

Hellenic Association of Realtors
The Hellenic Association of Realtors ( H.A.R. ) was formed in January of 1999 by a group of leading Greek real estate agencies. Its central quarters are based in Athens but has equally active, each within its own region, sub-quarters. Its sub-quarters are spread around the country and located in high population areas such as Thessaloniki, Patras, Heraklio, Larisa, Lamia and on most of the larger islands.

It is the only professional real estate body in Greece that can cover the whole country, and the only one recognized by the European Confederation of Estate Agents (C.E.I.). The board of directors meets bimonthly at alternate quarters. This enforces a more powerful and effective presence of H.A.R., on a local and national basis.

Hellenic Property Federation (POMIDA)

POMIDA is the national organization of immovable private property owners of Greece.

POMIDA was founded in Athens on 1983, and it represents and defends the interests of all house and real estate property owners of the country and of all Greeks living abroad.

EEK

So much do we believe in our company foundations through our principles and codes of conduct, that Cretan homes is also the first agency to not offer OFF PLAN sales as a separate option. We have agreed to advertise these properties, but as a company, are unwilling to negotiate until the properties are built or an agreed price is set and legally approved in the beginning. This way we feel that we are more in control of our customers investments and there is no misunderstanding about any finishing costs often associated with these projects. This is a company decision and one we are happy to approve.
