A small village about a ten minute drive from the centre of Makriyialos.

Pass the monastry Kapsa and the gorge with it's abundant flower and herb life and you arrive in Goudouras and the end of this coastal road.

There are about 300 people living in the area, and the village gets its name from the plant used to sweep floors and also used as a foundation to dry figs and grapes, the 'agoudouras'.

Agriculture is still a very big industry and important to the area. There are also some good beaches in the area at Goudouras and also at Livari.
