Apidi is split into two villages called Exo ( Outer)  Apidi and Mesa ( Inner) Apidi. These villages get there names from the trees that grow there and are futher on the road from Armeni and Handras. Quiet and remote, they are known for some minoan findings, such as burial tombs and also for its peaceful area. The atmosphere and weather is different here, tending to be cooler and fresher so that even in the heat of summer, it is easier to sleep here. Due to its weather, many vegetables and vines grow here and this area is still used for its organic produce.

We have a few houses here for sale and they have lovely open mountain views and are about  thirty two kilometres from Sitia and a  twenty minute drive to the beaches in Xerocampos.
