Achlia, has some wonderful bays with good views of the Libyan sea, surrounded by a mountain backdrop. if you search this area, you can find some lovely hidden coves for picnics and privacy.

There are many opportunities to buy Crete land and build here. About fifteen minutes to Makriyialos and the same to Ierapetra. We are getting more properties in this area for sale as it is a very quiet  village with village houses dotted about and not so close together. It is easy to get to Ierapetra faster from here too, as the road is open and easy with little traffic delays.
